Through years of practice and horticultural knowledge we have extended our season. Don't know your flower seasons? Don't worry, we will take you on a floral voyage throughout the year.  Early blossom, tulips and ranunculus through the bounty of summer to chrysanthemums & dahlias, foliage and handmade wreaths in December.

We prefer nature to take its course; we don't use pesticides, insecticides, fungicides or hormones, and rely as much as possible on our own made compost (another passion of Katherine's). Usually harvested within 24 hours of delivery, and without those chilly international airmiles your blooms will last longer than others and maintain their scent (if they boast this super power).

Your fabulous flowers will be delivered in paper based packaging. To limit road miles we deliver on a Friday and Saturday only - perfect for the weekend! Some flowers travel well by post so for longer journeys we can send selected designs via Royal Mail Tracked 24.

Being a British grower we are incredibly proud to provide gorgeous seasonal products, this means availability changes from week to week - this is nothing but exciting!

Elm Street Flower Farm is owned and run by Katherine Evans-Smith. Katherine studied horticulture and forestry,  had an early career in hospitality and professional gardening, and has been growing flowers, fruit and vegetables in the Tyne Valley for more than ten years.

We established as a flower farm in 2021 through a genuine passion for growing truly beautiful flowers that are not readily available from wholesale or on the high street, and a desire for as many people as possible to have locally and naturally grown, fresh and seasonal great British Blooms.

Katherine loves plants and grows from the heart, taking as much pleasure in growing cabbages as she does gorgeous florals!

We, like you, are at the mercy of the weather and, even with the (brand new!) polytunnel, the growing season here in the north-east is slightly shorter than our cousins elsewhere in the UK; from time to time we do source some gorgeous florals from other specially selected growers. Hand-picked these growers all share the same vision as we do here at Elm Street Flower Farm - to provide you and your loved ones with only the best of British-grown flowers and foliage whilst minimising our impact on our beautiful planet.
